The Agency Collective’s Christian Cipriani and his partner from Electric Porkchop, Libran B, are teaming up to ring in the next Fundraiser for Miami’s Independent Thinkers, on Nov. 20th called “Fashion, Film & Music.” Can you guess what the night involves? It’s going to be even better than MIT’s last event. It’s atop the swanky Viceroy Hotel/ICON Brickell, at the even swankier Club 50. Check out the flier below, and yes – that’s the venue!
Only $15 gets you in, with a free drink ticket, and you can indulge in four hours of live fashion, indie films, and of course the sickest beats this side of the Mason-Dixon Line…

The first wave of a major redesign and marketing roll-out for Chef Jeremiah are up and running. Chef J was the proprietor of the legendary Bullfrog Eatz in Wynwood, Miami, and every band and DJ worth their salt passed through. It was a hip, sweaty joint run by one of the city’s most innovative chefs. Bullfrogz closed but Chef J continued his rise as a culinary figure, from major events like VIP catering at Ultra to private gigs like being on call when Rick Ross gets hungry.
The next phase is gastroPod! The Agency Collective is developing the brand with Chef J, and soon his 1962 Airstream customized with the sickest high-end kitchen gear will become Miami’s first mobile gourmet restaurant. Twitter’s gonna be a major vehicle for the project, so we created custom backgrounds for his accounts. Much more design and branding is one the way, including a website, custom packaging, and other fun stuff so stay tuned….

Two recently unveiled slogans are uncannily close to lines I wrote for past clients… Scion now touts itself with “What Moves You,” which is annoyingly close to “Whatever Moves You,” the tagline I penned back in 2006 for RCRS, a Miami real estate company. Later, I dubbed palladium “The Now Metal” for Palladium Alliance International, a group dedicated to promoting the metal’s use in fine jewelry. Lo and behold, Sprint emerges this year as “The Now Network.”

The Agency Collective is on the board of a new art fair trying to launch for this year’s Art Basel. The fair – Miami’s Independent Thinkers / “Miami’s It” – is holding a fundraiser on October 15, 2009 from 6pm – 10pm at Coverings Etc, 7620 NE 4th Court, Miami. If you’re in town please come! It’s in the warehouse complex where we’re aiming to hold the event and it’s fantastic – huge, with a beautiful courtyard, and the perfect home for what we’re hoping will become a Basel staple.
Miami’s Independent Thinkers is dedicated to showcasing local art talent and is already picking up strong support from the Miami art community; check out the festival’s website and check back regularly as they develop the portal and announce the program. Here is the logo The Agency Collective Developed for the event. Thanks to May Azcue and Pete Kirill for their hard work on this logo:

The Agency Collective also just wrapped up designing an event program for the Star Gala, held each year by the Florida Recording and Entertainment Council. In addition to the book – the cover of which is below – we developed collateral and press releases for the event, whose theme this year is “Gold.” Check out the Star Gala website for more info.

The Agency Collective’s Pete Kirill just finished a fantastic new web design for Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant & Wine Bar, executed for the folks over at GMG Advertising. Pete created a lush palette of dark gradients, organic flash animations and rich textures to bring to life the work and style of one of the world’s foremost up-and-coming chefs. If your company is interested in an online presence with this level of depth and originality, give us a call at 305-981-6455 or email us a little info about you and your project and one of our principals will get back to you immediately – info@theagencylistens.com.

The Agency Collective, in conjunction with Cipriani Design in Nashville, just put the finishing touches on The Parking Space: The Official Blog of the Miami Parking Authority. The project is an effort to engage the public on parking issues in Miami and to respond to the media in real time. This is the first step in the long process of redesigning the MPA’s website, and it will hopefully establish a more current design language. Government on the web has historically led to a drab institutional aesthetic, but we believe even public entities deserve sharp branding and attractive graphics. Check it out, and if you live in Miami, join the conversation at The Parking Space!
